Assault and battery

    Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jennifer Ann Racey and Barbara Ann Roach, both of 359 Back Road, Edinburg May 6 for assault and battery of a family member.

 

Larceny

    An incidence of larceny was reported to the sheriff’s office May 8. According to the complainant, unknown person(s) removed a chainsaw from a vehicle at an unknown location in Shenandoah County.

 

Destruction of property

    An incidence of destruction of property was reported to the sheriff’s office May 8. According to the complainant, unknown person(s) damaged a residence on Grover Road, Edinburg.

 

Animal cruelty

    Sheriff’s deputies charged Mary Alice Ryman of Conicville Road, Mt. Jackson May 9 with three counts of animal cruelty.

 

Soliciting without a permit

    Sheriff’s deputies charged Toni Lynn Hill of Valley Mill Road, Winchester and Iosac Lamar Mellen of Manning Road, Accokeek, MD May 9 with soliciting without a permit.

 

Destruction of property

    An incidence of destruction of property was reported to the sheriff’s office May 11. According to the complainant, unknown person(s) damaged a vehicle at a residence on Old Valley Pike, Woodstock.

    Sheriff’s deputies arrested Matthew Allen Barley of West Main St., Tazewell May 13 for felony breaking and entering, felony auto larceny and petit larceny, 3rd offense.
